Jeffrey A. Eagan
President & Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey A. Eagan is the Chief Financial Officer of Compendium Federal Technology, LLC and oversees the accounting, tax, and financial functions of CFT. Additionally, he has acted as President, Corporate Counsel, and Chief Financial Officer of other small government contracting firms.

Previously, Jeff worked as a Foreign Legal Associate for Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (AMT), one of the most prestigious law firms in Japan. At AMT, he provided general international corporate legal services with respect to a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions and matters (e.g., M&A, Finance, General Corporate, Tax, Employment and Intellectual Property).
He has also worked for Arthur Andersen LLP as an International Tax Consultant, wherein he consulted on the structuring of inbound/outbound transactions in order to reduce clients’ worldwide tax rates and liabilities.
Jeff received a B.S. in Accounting from Tulane University; a J.D. from George Mason School of Law; and an LL.M. in Transnational Law from Temple University (Tokyo Campus).
John O'Connell

John O’Connell, Captain USN (Retired)
    John was born and raised in Medfield and graduated with the Class of 1964. He attended Northeastern University graduating in 1969 with Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    Upon graduating he was accepted into the Navy as an Aviation Officer Candidate at Pensacola Florida and was commissioned an Ensign in 1969.
Ensign O’Connell was designated a Naval Aviator helicopter pilot in 1970.
    John spent the next 6 years flying H-3 helicopters making four 6 month deployments to the Mediterranean Sea on the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1974.
    John was designated a Navy Test Pilot in 1977 and during the next 3 years he flew 22 different types of aircraft and during that time he received a Master of Science Degree from The University of Southern California. John was promoted to Lieutenant Commander in 1978.
    At the end of his tour at the Navy’s Test Center John attended The Naval War College in Newport Rhode Island in 1981. From 1982 to 1984 John made 2 more Operational Deployments to the Mediterranean Sea on the USS America aircraft carrier.
    In 1984 he was promoted to Commander and was selected to be the Commanding Officer of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron 5 attached to the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier making 2 more deployments to the Mediterranean Sea in 3 years.
    From 1987 to 1989 John was stationed at the Pentagon on the Chief of Naval Operations Staff. In 1989 he was assigned to the Naval Air Systems Command in Washington DC where he was responsible for the technical capabilities of the Navy’s newest Antisubmarine Warfare systems. At the end of this tour John promoted to Captain.
    In 1991 he was transferred to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command where he served as the Program Manager for the Navy’s Tactical Data Links Systems for 4 years.
    John’s final 3 years in the Navy was as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Communications and Space, retiring in 1999.
    For the next 6 years John worked in the Defense industry supporting Navy and Air Force communication systems. In 2006 John established his own company.
    John now lives in Lexington Park, Maryland with his wife Bonnie and their 3 children.
